Tyger Lin

Tyger (he/him) is a medical student in the Wang Lab at Yale. He received his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins University.

Prior to coming to Yale, Tyger worked as a clinical research coordinator with Dr. Risa Wolf at Johns Hopkins studying glycemic control in children with diabetes. In the summer of his first year, Tyger worked with Dr. Mandar Muzumdar at the Yale Cancer Biology Institute studying the role of B cells in the tumor microenvironment of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma in obese mice. In the Wang Lab, Tyger hopes to learn how to derive insights from large datasets that impact clinical decision-making in patients at risk for pancreatic cancer.

Outside of school, he enjoys cooking food from different cultures and playing volleyball.
