Ryan is a statistician for the Wang Lab in Yale's Section of Digestive Diseases. He completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Statistics at Utah State University. As a member of the lab, he aims to further efforts to improve early detection of pancreatic cancer while expanding his skillset in statistical and epidemiological methodologies. He is particularly interested in using the combination of clinical, genetic, and epigenetic data for the purpose of pancreatic cancer risk prediction.

Outside of research, Ryan spends as much time as possible outside playing volleyball and paddleboarding.
