Joeseph Zavorskas
Joe is a first-year postdoctoral fellow with a computational biology background. In the Wang Lab, he applies this background to develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms, which predict patients’ risk of pancreatic cancer and support early cancer detection. Joe has the privilege of analyzing a wealth of genetic and clinical data from the VA electronic health record and the Million Veteran Program to accomplish these goals.
Outside of the lab, he enjoys hiking (especially in New Hampshire) and playing volleyball!
